BIO
Hi, Stephen here... So you want to learn a little bit about me? Well, here goes!
I'm originally from Columbia, Maryland but I've lived in Los Angeles since I was 22 when I moved there to become a writer, actor and filmmaker.
My latest project is a comedy show called "Groad, the Guardian Devil". I Created and Wrote it and the first episode was shot as a table read on Zoom. It stars Jim O'Heir ("Parks and Recreation") as Groad, Carlos Alazraqui ("Reno 911"), Jillian Murray ("Code Black") and myself.
In 2016 I made my first film, DANCE BABY DANCE. I wrote, produced, directed, and acted in it (and even tap danced). It was quite the thrill ride! See info on it HERE
I actually landed my very first acting job when I first moved to L.A. The character was labeled as "A pasty-faced twerp". They told me I was perfect for the role... Hmm, I decided then to take a little break from acting and focus solely on being a pasty-faced writer.
But the acting bug resurfaced periodically, and after getting a (sort of) tan, I started writing, acting and directing comedy shorts and webisodes.
As an author I wrote the book Max Mooth -- Cyber Sleuth and the Case of the Zombie Virus -- and also wrote a satirical comic strip called "Studio Reader Stan".
I'm now in the process of getting several more of my scripts made into films -- and am planning on directing and acting in two of them.
I also make comedy sketches for charities. You can see them HERE.
And that's a little bit about me. Thanks for the look!
